How often do you think about your Breasts?

I mean, really think about them. Not just how they appear: if they look good in a bra or clothes, or if they are perky, small, swollen, sagging, or droopy. Breasts can become a warehouse for toxins in your body. Swelling in your breasts, ankles, or lungs may be the result of trauma, infection, or injury. And in the United States, breast cancer is the most common form of advanced lymphedema (a long-term condition where fluid causes swelling and obstructs the body’s internal drainage system). It is my mission to help people address toxicity in their bodies, which is often stored in the breasts and prostate.

Women’s breasts are made of lymphoid tissue, a network of vessels, nodes, glands, and ducts. This system is designed to deliver the body’s innate immune response in defense of invaders. The nodes act as filters for harmful substances while the lymphatic vessels carry a clear watery fluid, fighting infection by targeting germs that get picked up in the lymph fluid. The function of the lymphatic system is to support the immune system while draining toxins from the body. If this system is in good working order, it protects against harmful invaders. When it is not functioning well, we feel sluggish and puffy.

How do we avoid this?

In the 21st century, 45% of the population suffers from chronic disease, accounting for 75% of the nation’s health costs (according to the Center for Disease Control). And since the Miliken Institute analysis deems this cost to the US economy is $1-trillion dollars annually,* we can’t afford to ignore our health or this book, written with an aim to educate and advise while serving as a guide to pro-active, wellness practices.

Informed by my experience with over 25 years of practice, employing innovative diagnostics and new treatment modalities with proven results, this timely book provides an understanding of the interaction of stress, toxicity, and lymph. It also offers wellness recommendations for a healthier lifestyle and improved immune system, enabling your lymphatic system to function optimally.
Reading and absorbing this book–written at a time when we all need to prioritize wellness during the COVID-19 pandemic–is your first step towards the healthier, feel-good life you have imagined. -Dr. Loretta Friedman (*Statistics are based on the pre-Covid-19 pandemic.)

“Doctors won’t make you healthy. Nutritionists won’t make you slim. Teachers won’t make you smart. Gurus won’t make you calm. Mentors won’t make you rich. Trainers won’t make you fit. Ultimately, you have to take responsibility. Save yourself.”-Naval Ravikant, Entrepreneur and Investor.
